Our lawyers have vast experience in a wide range of corporate work. We advise our corporate clients in matters relating to their shareholders’ and directors’ rights, duties and liabilities. We assist multinational, international, local and public listed companies in their restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.
We also advise minority and majority shareholders on their rights and liabilities and have vast experience in preparing shareholders’ agreements, sale of shares agreements, trust deeds and options.
In addition, we provide legal advice to our corporate clients on matters relating to the day to day running of their business. Our areas of expertise include manufacturing transactions, sale and distributions transactions, franchise arrangements, investment agreement, confidential and employment agreements. We provide advice on the remittance of funds from and into Malaysia and provide legal advice and opinion to our corporate clients in matters relating to their trade arrangements, internal administration, employee share option schemes, supply and purchase contracts, labour concerns, intellectual property (IP), information and communications technology (ICT), personal data protection, insurance and many other aspects of their businesses. We are also on the retainer of several groups of companies.

We are also active in advising companies in their listing exercises on the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, Singapore Stock Exchange and Dubai International Foreign Exchange. To date, we have handled 16 successful listing exercises on the Malaysian bourses.

Winding-up and Liquidation
We have advised companies and liquidators on the rights and liabilities of companies upon liquidation and voluntary winding-up. We assist them in perusing agreements and other documents and ascertaining the contractual and legal obligations of the companies. In relation to the liquidation process, we provide advice on employment law and termination issues. Where required, we advise our clients on the liquidation process, including the conduct of creditors’ meetings and the procedure in relation thereto.
